Yes, every Applause President's Club inductee can invite one guest to join them in Fort Lauderdale, covered by Applause.  Keep in mind bed preferences (King vs. 2 Doubles) are not guaranteed but can be requested. 
[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All RSVP's must be received by Friday, March 6, 2026 to reserve your spot on the end of May trip.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Are children invited? / Options for babysitting services?

All are invited to bring your kids at your own cost.

The Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale offers great hospitality for children. It features babysitting services and daily activities for children. Babysitting is usually on request, so you’ll want to contact the hotel before or during your stay to arrange specific times, details, and any fees. You can do this via concierge, the reservations team, or guest services upon arrival.

In Special Requests of your RSVP please include that you will be bringing children and the ages. The team from Executive Group Travel will assist in putting your in contact with the resort to set up babysitting services if required.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

Please book your flights direct through the airline and expense for reimbursement.   Please remember to fly into Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL). For those international travelers, you may find better options flying into Miami (MIA), which is about 45 minutes by car (34 miles) to the hotel. 

Please remember to note your travel and other related costs as President’s Club related when submitting expenses.

Flights should be booked no later than March 20th. Once flights are booked, please send the complete itinerary including airline, flight number, and times to info@executivegrouptravel.com.

It is your responsibility to check the flight status of your departures.

 If your flight gets delayed, you miss a connection, or canceled please work with the airline to confirm a seat on a new flight.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I come early or extend my trip?

We have a limited amount of pre/post extensions.  The per night rate is $685 which includes applicable occupancy and sales tax of 13% plus a $30 resort fee.

Please email Info@ExecutiveGroupTravel.com for extension requests at the discounted group rate. 

Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, any canceled nights will be your financial responsibility.

[fa icon="plus-square"] How are airport transfers being handled?

Applause will cover the cost of all airport transfers in Fort Lauderdale, but will not be organizing transfers for attendees.  Please use uber/lyft/ or taxis and expense airport transfer costs following the event. The airport is just 20 minutes from the hotel.

Two options below that are recommended to get to/from the hotel.

Uber/Lyft: Can only be ordered to designated areas for each terminal (varies); please note that it is usually a longer than average wait time due to Covid but this is still the recommended mode of transport to the hotel.

Taxis - There are taxi stands located at each terminal.    

If you are arriving with co-workers we do ask to rideshare to the hotel together.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is this hotel all-inclusive?

The hotel is not all-inclusive.  Applause has provided a stipend on your room account to help defray the cost of food and drinks throughout the trip.  Anything over the resort credit provided by Applause will be your responsibility.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What can I expense from the trip?

We will be covering your hotel stay, $800 towards F&B, airport transfers, and flights.  We ask that you only expense your transport from your house to the airport round-trip.  All additional expenses over what is provided will be your responsibility from the trip.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What happens if I don't spend my resort credit?
At the end of your trip, if there is a balance from the resort credit issued to you and your guest, please note that there isn't a cash payout option, the remaining balance will just go back to the company to invest towards future trips!
[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be two options.

1.  Download the Trip Plans app that Executive Group Travel sends you, it will be hard to survive this trip without it. It provides everything from hotel confirmation # to itinerary details to airport transfer information!

2.  The website will also have all updates posted before the event and during the event.
